Dr Michael Carr-Gregg is one of Australia’s highest profile psychologists and parenting expert, working in all forms of media. A successful author, speaker, broadcaster, and mental health advocate, Michael works in private practice in Melbourne and is now coming to Brisbane.
Michael has been the recipient of a number of awards including the Australian Jaycees Outstanding Young Australian of the Year (1987), the New Zealand Commemoration Medal for Services to the Community (1990), and named Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary International in recognition of his work in the prevention of youth suicide (1997) and again in 2021. Michael is a Master trainer for Mental Health First Aid Australia, a Patron of Read the Play, and a columnist for a number of publications. Michael was the resident psychologist for the top-rating Morning Show with Neil Mitchell on Radio 3AW for 12 years.
Michael also provides Youth Mental Health First Aid training and Teen Mental Health First Aid for schools and organisations nationally and internationally, as well as webinars to help school students, staff and parents manage the uncertain times that we live in.

Laura, a seasoned social worker with a master’s degree in counselling and AASW membership, brings over 30 years of expertise in providing counselling, support, and advocacy to young people and families. Her diverse experience includes roles at Children’s Health Queensland, Youth Justice, Centrelink, Queensland University of Technology, and Sexual Assault Service.
Laura has long-term experience working therapeutically with adolescents and their families. Her passion is empowering individuals and family members to reflect and communicate meaningfully to improve well-being and relationships.
Collaborating with Laura as a family provides crucial support during lifecycle transitions or crises, fostering self-reflection and decision-making. Leah’s personal experience with a child diagnosed with ADHD allows her to offer a profound level of understanding and compassion to our families and clients.
